The recent scandal involving Tiger Woods has fascinated the American media and public recently. It seems that virtually every day for a time another loose woman came forward claiming to be yet another of his mistresses. At last count, the number was thirteen such women. The bloom has certainly come off the rose of this former golden boy. His reputation is in ruins, his family has been devastated, his wife has been humiliated, and his career is in jeopardy.
But Tiger Woods is certainly not the first person to try to cover up his sins. Cain tried to cover up his murder of his brother Abel (Gen. 4:9). David tried to cover up his adultery with Bathsheba and his subsequent murder of her husband Uriah (2 Sam. 11:6-27). But in each instance the cover-up was exposed. Read more!
