Motherhood

Sunday is Mother’s Day and I hope you all have something wonderful planned for your wives, mothers, and grandmothers. The Bible speaks in a special way of mothers. Proverbs 31:10 says, “Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies.” Indeed, a godly wife is one of the most valuable things in this world—a priceless treasure! We also read, “Her children rise up and call her blessed; Her husband also, and he praises her: ‘Many daughters have done well, But you excel them all’” (Prov. 31:28-29). Let’s remember to treat her with the love and respect she deserves every day, but especially on Mother’s Day. Why not bring her to church on Sunday and hear a special message on Motherhood?
