Good Books on the Holy Spirit

Last Sunday I presented a two-part sermon on “The Holy Spirit.” Let me say how pleased and humbled I am by the overwhelmingly positive response you gave to those lessons. It is my prayer that much good will continue to be done through the distribution of those lessons throughout our community.
Some have asked me what books I would recommend for a further study of the Holy Spirit. Besides the Bible, of course, let me recommend a few of the good books that have blessed me in preparing my study of the Spirit of God:
1. Bogard, Ben M. and N. B. Hardeman, Hardeman-Bogard Debate (Nashville, TN: Gospel Advocate Co., 1938).
2. Camp, Franklin, The Work of the Holy Spirit in Redemption (Adamsville, AL: Brothers, Inc., 1972).
3. Campbell, Alexander and N. L. Rice, The Campbell-Rice Debate, repr. (Germantown, TN: Religious Book Service, n.d.).
4. Taylor, Robert R., Jr., The Bible Doctrine of the Holy Spirit (Abilene, TX: Quality Publications, 1996).
5. Woods, Guy N., How The Holy Spirit Dwells In The Christian, tract (Pasadena, TX: Haun Publishing Co., n.d.).
6. Sweeney, Z. T., The Spirit and The Word, repr. (Bowling Green, KY: Guardian of Truth Foundation, 2004).
